Approaching 20 years of experience in the financial world, Mr. Norris currently serves as COO of RedRidge Finance Group providing leadership, management and vision to help grow the organization and ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.
Since joining RedRidge Finance Group in 2011 he’s been involved in launching the Bridge Lending Division, ExWorks Capital. However, his main focus has been developing and executing an aggressive organic growth strategy for RedRidge Finance Group’s consulting division, RedRidge Diligence Services. It’s now grown into a well-known reputable financial due diligence firm operating across five offices in the USA. Doing business with top tier commercial banks, national commercial lenders, private equity funds and both private and publically traded strategic buyers.
He began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) in Ireland where he performed financial statement audits for both private and public European companies. During this time he qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (ICAI).
He later joined PwC’s Forensic Accounting Division, where he served as a financial fraud investigator based in the United Kingdom. He investigated high profile financial reporting fraud and misappropriation of assets allegations. He was then relocated to the USA to manage financial and operational risk assessments for Fortune 100 companies.
Most recently, he joined PwC’s M&A group where he managed M&A deals for private equity and strategic buyers across Europe, Asia and the United States. He advised on a wide range of M&A issues including carve-outs, joint ventures, bankruptcies, working capital disputes and integrations for deals ranging from $50 million to over $10 billion. This included some very high profile multi-billion dollar acquisitions in the retail and healthcare space.
