President & CEO, RedRidge Finance Group and ExWorks Capital
Randy Abrahams has over 34 years of lending experience. Mr. Abrahams serves as the President and CEO of RedRidge Finance Group, defining the strategic direction for the company as well as directing overall day to day operations. He began his career at National Acceptance Corporation, a subsidiary of Walter E. Heller and Company, a nationally recognized commercial finance company.
He later joined Fremont Financial where he spent over ten years. After leaving as National Marketing Manager at Fremont, he joined LaSalle National Bank/ABN-AMRO in Chicago, Illinois. In 1997, Mr. Abrahams joined Finova Capital Corporation’s newly formed Healthcare Finance Group. Mr. Abrahams was later promoted to Group Head and managed the $1.2 billion healthcare portfolio. The group was later purchased by Berkadia, LLC; a joint venture between Berkshire Hathaway and Leucadia National Corporation. Mr. Abrahams continued to manage the division successfully on their behalf.
Most recently, Mr. Abrahams founded and served as President/CEO of Bridge Finance Group, an independent commercial finance company. In just under five years, Bridge Finance Group became a respected and influential member of the finance community, with hundreds of millions in funds managed and partner relationships serving a multitude of specialized industries.
Mr. Abrahams founded RedRidge Finance Group in 2009, adding several divisions and affiliates including Excel Finance Company, RedRidge Lender Services, LLC and ExWorks Capital, LLC notably among them. The companies now have over 166 employees and continue their respective growth trends in specialized finance market niches.
Mr. Abrahams has served the Commercial Finance Association in various officer positions in the Midwest and nationally on the Education Committee. He previously served on the Commercial Finance Association Education Committee and the Commercial Finance Association Executive Committee.
Additionally, he has presented at national healthcare conferences; panels, banks and bondholder meeting; and equity investor gatherings throughout his career. Mr. Abrahams has previously been on the Board of Directors at Children’s Memorial Hospital Foundation in Chicago. Currently Mr. Abrahams sits on the board of RedRidge Finance Group and is the Executive Chairman of ExWorks.
